Pakistan is in real trouble in Sharjah even after winning a crucial toss. The wicket was not read properly by the hosts. It had a lot tricks to unfold which Pakistan saw once they entered into the ground

The wicket was much dull and produced a lot of spin and extra bounce. Pakistan has lost their first five wickets for just 140 runs.

Azhar Ali came in as opener and perished quickly by the hands of Anderson. Anderson put in a length ball and Azhar without moving his feet much went for a defense stroke that formed an edge and Bairstow took an easy one behind the stumps.

Hafeez later followed Azhar when he tried to hit Moeen out of the park and produced a top edge that flew down to Broad at deep square leg and he did miss it at all.
